If 10 people have a cardiac arrest and they receive help via a defibrillator* in the first minute, 9 out of 10 will survive. For every minute that passes until the heart can be defibrillated, the patient’s odds of surviving a cardiac arrest decline by 10%. With the use of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) your trained First Aider can help stabilise a patient until an ambulance or doctor arrives. Most
